I realize it's early in the kit's development but there appears to be some of the same 'thinking' that went into the '69-'72s, ie flat roof, 'off' taillights, C pillars etc. They could do themselves (and us) a favor by using the amt design as a baseline...

for sheetmetal contours etc instead of trying to reinvent the wheel. Basically learn from what amt did right and if necessary, correct minor points. They've already used the amt frame and engine, so why not , if you're going to take flak for copying anyways, use the right stuff for product development instead of copying previous mistakes. It's unfortunate to see bad advice adopted and acted upon, as in certain design elements of the previous F100 kits.
