- Hang in there, we’ve all been down this road. Personally I find painting to be the most stressful and frustrating part of the hobby, but also the most rewarding when it works out well. Strip, prep, paint, repeat as necessary. ;-) *NM*

- I think that kit may have been a harbinger of the '68 box art - a bit more 'loose' in the detail than prior years

- It's been so long since I needed to strip paint. Will Simple Green strip paint? What else is there? (I won't consider brake fluid) If I remember right, just submerge the part in a tub of the cleaner and let it soak. *NM*
