I'm assuming you did this on an inkjet. A laser printer is much more permanent, but I still apply a decal clear anyway *NM*

Yes.... The clear is what bonds the ink to the decal paper. Without it the ink simply washes away when you wet the decal. *NM*

Again, I would be afraid that Pledge / Future just wash the ink away.... Best bet is Testors' 9200 Decal Bonder spay, though Testors Gloss-Cote will do in a pinch.....
