Totally O/T... About my Facebook account... How do I make it more secure...

I have a Facebook account that I rarely use... I have it because my girls use it to send me photos (what's wrong with emails?) and other funny but mostly distracting stuff...

For the past few months (or more) I've been getting regular emails telling me that my Facebook account has been opened in Timbuktoo or some other location and I am then asked to reset my password so a few weeks ago I made up a Word file password... Here it is for all to see: (I've changed a few characters...)

:LKJ :Oiu^qoihîhj^pihj^pjjc^0au\\\e88**&&&???%%&*)U)_(&*)_(&*jû^qj

That apparently is a STRONG password... But the very next day someone opens my Facebook account from an unknown location and I have to reset my password... So I open up the Word file, add a few characters and remove one or two... and reset my password again. Then the next day or so it's "Wash, rinse, repeat"...

Upon searching this problem I'm finding that it's not a password problem but a "Facebook Security Question" problem. Anyone can reset your Facebook password if they've guessed one of your Facebook Security Question answers... The REAL problem with Facebook is that once you've setup your Facebook account, you CAN'T change your Security Questions?!?

My daughter says I can cancel my Facebook account and start a new one with Word File security answer for each question...

My question is, for someone who hardly uses Facebook, is it worth the trouble to starting from scratch or are there other ramifications to keeping a compromised Facebook account alive?
