I had priced just such a car in 1969... A Chevy Nova with a 327, 4 on the rubber matted floor, radio delete, couldn't do without heater in Canada, posi rear end.... The price???

.... Under $2,000.

I had started building my first hot rod, the 1940 Studebaker Champion... And IT was already draining my meager finances... So the Nova didn't happen...

I bet you if it had happened, I'd still have that car to this day... I kept my hot rod Studebaker for 32 years, and my current '52 Chevy pickup project will be 20 years in the making next year!!!
