Okay, I have a question. And please read the whole thing before you answer.
And the 1958 Imperial was featured in Ultra Man (as a single word, it apparently trips the "naughty language" filter. Who'da thunk it? *NM*
Beverly Hillbillies truck *NM*
Oops--missed that. I have one. *PIC*
How about the car from the '65-'66 tv serie My Mother the Car? *NM*
Miss Hathaway and Mr Drysdale drove Dodges and were always parked in front of the doors of the mansion. *NM*
How about some of the cars in "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad world"?? *NM*
There are a bunch. I started to try and make a list, but you can do a Google Image search for "cars movie it's a mad, mad, mad, mad world" and see them for yourself. Quite a collection. *NM*
Try IMCDB.ORG *NM*
Here is the imcdb result... *NM* *LINK*
Man From Uncle Piranha and Dodge Thundercharger (pic at link) *NM* *LINK*
Thundercharger was always one of my faves, MPC later turned it back into the 67 Charger. *NM*
There were several racing movies made in that time period. *NM*
Or Kookies T bucket from 77 Sunset Strip?? *NM*
Have the Danbury Mint model, but was thinking of kits. *NM*
On Bewitched Darrin drove a green Camaro with white interior. *NM*
Black interior sorry bout that, the Thunderbird Matt Helm drove. *NM*
The lovely set chrysler turbine. *NM*
Re: The lively set chrysler turbine. *NM*
That was available for awhile as a Jo-Han or X-El promo *NM*
Also available as an easy fit kit (unassembled promo). *NM*
A couple I can think of, MPC Mannix, Mission Impossible, My Mother The Car, and the one with the Taxi with Bob Denver. Also what about the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang car.
Have Mother and the Good Guys Taxi. Good list. *NM*
How about the Citroen Kirk drove in AG..... and I believe it made a cameo in the Wesley Snipes movie " The Art of War" *NM*
Charger from Crazy Larry and Dirty Mary *NM*
"Get Smart" Sunbeam and the Sunbeam from James Bond *NM*
Perry Mason drove a 59 Ford and a 59-60 Caddy and Paul drove a 63 T-Bird and I believe a 57 as well. *NM*
Dirty Mary Crazy Larry was made in '74.. *NM*
Forget this Crazy Larry *NM*
Don't count "Art of War" I believe that was in the mid-90's *NM*
AG was made in '73. *NM*
That's right you said to 69.... Let me give more thought. *NM*
Major Nelson drove 65 GTO in opening season "I Dream of Jeannie" *NM*
Jim Reed "Adam-12" drove a 61-62 Corvette one of those. *NM*
Elvis drove a Corvette in "Clambake" 1967 *NM*
58 Corvette from "Hotrods from Hell" 1967 *NM*
OMG Yes - and didn't Dana Andrews have a '61 Plymouth Stawag? *NM*
Four-door sedan. I know someone who built a model of it and the Corvette *NM*
I remember that from the 4 O'Clock Movie...
How about some of the vehicles from Hogan's Hero's. I have a Heller 15CV that looks like the Staff car, And the ICM G4 looks like General Burkhalter's ride. Plus I recall seeing a number of Deuce and a Half's and maybe even a 50 Ford Pickup. *NM*
More military in M*A*S*H -jeeps, etc. *NM*

Citroen 2CV from For your Eyes Only. 68 Cougar from On Her Majesty's Secret Service. BMW Z8 from Golden Eye *NM*
Whoops, got carried away and went beyond the 60;'s *NM*
Not in theaters, but some of the above are tv so - Rockford Files' Firebirds and his dad's pickup.. *NM*
Sorry, I checked and Rockford Files started in '74. *NM*
Too bad he never got a '79 model. They say it was because Garner didn't like the update that year, but me thinks it was more of a cost cutting decision from production to save $$$ during the last two seasons. *NM*
Didn't he drive a GMC Caballero in the last few episodes? *NM*
I was referring to the Firebird. *NM*
Yes, but I'm thinking the switch was made because he didn't like the '79 'Bird *NM*
Maybe a little bit of both. Production costs soared due to the rising cost of on-location shooting at that time. Half dozen new '79's for the last two seasons probably wasn't worth it. *NM*
After Smokey, the Firebird was a very tough ticket
Exactly my thoughts hence why I never bought the "official" 'Garner didn't like them' cover story. He may not have liked them, but that wasn't the reason. *NM*
Never thought to ask him when we met at Indy in '89
Herbie the Love Bug. Also there have been toys and kits of the assorted vehicles from Gerry Anderson TV series in various scales. *NM*
I'd also give a special dispensation to allow the 1971 movie, Vanishing Point with the white Dodge Challenger and the Caterpillar Bulldozer( x 2) at the end......but I understand you have to call a limit somewhere.............lol. *NM*
The Barris "Thunder Charger" from 1967's 'Thunder Alley'. *NM*
1966 Alpha Romeo 1600 Spyder from 1967's 'The Graduate'. *NM*
1960's Mini Coopers from 1969's 'The Italian Job'. *NM*
Come on Deputy. How can you have missed Adam 12? *NM*
The Green Hornet, The Black Beauty and numerous Dodge cars , Britt Read had a Mid 60s Dodge in the Garage where it switched places with the Black Beauty. *NM*
Actually, Terry, it was a 1966 Chrysler convertible. You can go on You-Tube and watch the "roll-over." The models used in the scene were made by Aurora. Haven't been able to find out if they still exist. *NM*
Thanks, yes now I remember, I forget it was a Chrysler, as for being models I always thought it was a model, The only Black Beauty was 1/32, but dont remember a 1/32 Chrysler, unless both were custom built for the show. *NM*
Both models for that scene were larger scale (1/16?) and were scratchbuilt by someone at Aurora *NM*
Re: Okay, I have a question. And please read the whole thing before you answer.
Green Acres........
I'm skating through this, but - Mr. Drysdale's '65 Imperial from Beverly Hillbillies; the Tiger-striped '66 GTO convertible from My Three Sons

Honey West Cobra? The Saint's Volvo? Mrs. Peel's Lotus? *NM*
1960 Ferrari 250 GT from “The Pink Panther” movie from 1963. *NM*
The Hero obscure tv show - 1966 Imperial *NM*
Wasnt there a model of that car *NM*
There was. The show was a 13 week deal, didn't do too well, was probably already toast by the time the kit appeared! *NM*
Western Pickup was the last version of that tool, I still wonder if the tooling is still in storage. *NM*
Dave (Model King) found the '59 while looking for the Western Pickup. The latter was never found, IIRC he was told it no longer exists *NM*
And who can forget the classic "Lively Set" or "Palm Springs Weekend?"

'67 Ford Fairlane from Dragnet '67-'70, but that was a 4 door sedan. *NM*
The "ZZR" from the movie "Out of Sight". AMT did a kit of it that was later redone in a fire truck theme. *NM* *PIC*
Tommy Ivo's four engine / four wheel drive dragster, from the movie Bikini Beach. *NM*
Roth's Surfite, from "Village of the Giants" (1964) *NM*
In the first The Crow movie there was a 70's Cougar with a blower. I think it was similar to the MPC Cougar. *NM*
Found a pic and a link, cool car! *NM* *LINK* *PIC*
Excellent - that's it. But from the hood ornament shot - maybe a 79 Thunderbird instead of Cougar .
It is a Thunderbird ,, hence the driver character's name being "T-Bird" but it's a '73-'76. *NM*
Thomas Crown Affair (1968) had both a Meyers Manx (AMT) and a Ferrari 275 Spyder (Revell of Germany) *NM*
How about the Dobbie Gillis car *NM*
wasnt it called "the andy griffith show" in 1960? I think "Andy of Mayberry" came much later.
