I do the same thing, Scott. Takes longer, but it's cleaner & thinner. *NM*

It was very thick. Since I'm lousy with a saw, I always use a panel scriber over and over until I'm thru. The scriber leaves a narrower and cleaner cut too. *NM*

Off the bench. For years I've wanted to build some of these, but they're so expensive. My brother gave me the money for a Christmas present and said I had to use the money just for this, he knew how much I wanted one. A Maverick Grabber, ...............*PICS*..........
Nice Maverick! Even better, cool brother. *NM*
Looks really good, *NM*
Super nice! *NM*
Nice little car! At the time they were all over the place. *NM*
Great job, and I can’t remember the last time someone posted pics of a Maverick! *NM*
Is this the grille you need? *PIC*
Yep, that's the one. *NM*
Very nice! *NM*
Cool! *NM*
I agree with all the others!!! *NM*
Re: VERY nice! *NM*
Looks great! I learned to drive in a '70 Maverick and am working on restoring a JoHan kit now. Was getting ready to paint it when my airbrush cr...ed out. Will get back to it shortly. *NM*
VERY nice!! I love Grabbers, but didn't recall they ever came with a 6 cyl. Thought they were all 302s. *NM*
From my research while building this, it seems to me that the vast majority had any one of the 3 six's that were available and that the 302 is not very common. That's the impression that I got. *NM*
The '71 Grabber package consisted of: racing stripes, rallye-type road lights, simulated hood scoops, special painted hood and grille, all-vinyl interior..
Car and Driver did a road test of the '70 Maverick Grabber...best remembered for the female model posed with the car in all of the photos...
Nice build from a promo. You did a great job cutting out the promo hood, Sometime promos have thicker plastic, looks like a kit to me. *NM*

THAT is why we need someone to kit a Maverick. Great job, Scott! *NM*
Scott, your builds always impress. Nice job! *NM*
I was always under the impression that the Mavericks and Comets were pretty common after the annuals
Very nice build from a promo. Always wanted a real Maverick Grabber. *NM*
For everybody who wants one... what would you pay for a full kit? *NM*
The price would really vary for each individual because it depends on parts count, accuracy, details, etc., etc.. I, for one would like to see a complete kit available to the public. Would be nice to include the hoods and grills for 1970 and 1971. *NM*
That's a sweetheart! Great job! *NM*
