- Has anyone built the AMT 70 Monte Carlo? I am having trouble with the interior fitting all the way up in the body. It seems the door panels are to wide for them to slip up inside. Anyone else have this problem or am I doing something wrong? *NM*

- The motor is a Honda four. The MPC Chopper is actually a pretty sharp model. You can get a better detailed Honda four in two of the original MPC "Trike" kits of the early 1970's; reissued by Retro Hobbies around 2005....Here's a couple images of the assembled.... *LINK* *PIC*

- It was good until about 1980. After that, it started going downhill IMHO. *NM*
- Neat story! My father was a mechanic and enjoyed building the first AMT kits - and I "helped"! The last one I remember helping on was a '60 Buick.
- I was very fortunate... Both of my parents were extremely supportive of my hobby..... Dad was a builder in the very early days of the hobby and we often went to swap meets together, right up to his passing, in 2013. *NM* *PIC*
