finished up the '39 Chevy and '29 Ford pickup a few minutes ago,the thing I want to make clear about the '29 Ford is it's not PC correct in the modeling world but it was a learning experience for the next one down the line. For Steve and Dan(?) who wanted info on the build,I

used the channeled frame from the Revell '29 Roadster kit and also ended up using the firewall from same kit,you have to remove the one from the pickup and also make a new floor pan,I chose not to do the floor pan...mistake on my part which is why I learned a few things while building it,the motor from Revells '32 Ford kits was also used.Slicks are AMT's parts pack and rear wheels are Modelhaus Halibrands, fronts are AMT Parts Pack Gasser wheels and tires.I made the tank from tubing and added a Custom part from a '59 Imperial kit as an air cleaner.I was surprised as how well the doors fit on this one as one's I had built in the past had no good fitment whatssoever, any way it is what it is and looks good in the display case on the shelf...lol

First up is the '39 SD,this was a re-do that I had given an awful 2 tone paint job on.
