Loadstar Engine and Frame

Been working on the frame, axles, springs, details and engine components the last several days. At the same time I had to tape the floorboard/firewall into position to make sure there was clearance enough for the engine and transmission. These IH rigs were pretty small when it came to cramming in a V-8 engine, fan and all the stuff that goes with it. But it's there. Waiting upon a delivery from Shapeways for the u-joints so I can finish up the driveshafts. At that point the frame work will essentially be complete. This rig is typical of the time for using Howe-Coleman front axles and 4wh drive. Hence the flat hub coverings over the front wheels. When I asked the Shapeways cad designer to do the tires I asked if he could add "GOODYEAR" and 10:00x20 to the tire sidewalls. If you look closely you can see the raised lettering. He even included the winged foot in between GOOD and YEAR.
