Even the best aftermarket panels are formed on crude dies, not as many of them are used, and the presses don't "hit" as hard as the OEM equipment... the contours often aren't as deep, and the creases aren't as crisp. An original fender, door, or quarter panel would go through multiple processes on multiple dies to achieve the final shape...not the replacement stuff. Sometimes the aftermarket pieces get their final form by hand. In general, the further up the panel you get, the further off it is going to be.
