Most likely to find a similar model in diecast rather than a kit, a few tweaks and a repaint and you have a nice gift in a window box as well *NM*

I think if you check out the new Land Rover kit from Revell, it's set up like that. *NM*
I think they're called Alpine windows, and to me it looks like the front one is different, maybe aftermarket *NM*
Probably a 109 Super. Here's a link to one for sale.... *NM* *LINK* *PIC*
Not a Land Rover expert, but it seems their snorkel hose is missing the rain cap. I think if caught in the rain with a water sealed hose/intake wide open to the sky they could drown the engine or might even suck water into the cylinders and blow it up? *NM*
The vehicle is currently in North Africa, I don't imagine they get to much rain. It's probably removed only temporary. *NM*
Bruce there are no current 1/24 4 door kits. The Esci's are same wheel base but older with different front sheet metal. Would take a bit of work to recreate the one you've pictured. Just my 2¢ *NM*
I'm not concerned about scale, but I'll see how close I can get. I may have to wait for this years reissues from Revell and Italeri / Heller to decide. :-) *NM*
Thanks everyone for all your help! I knew you folks would know :-) *NM*
I'm guessing your relatives Land Rover is a Santana 109 Super assembled in Spain. Your relative may be able to give you more details..Another 2¢. *NM*
Everything helps. The build will be a surprise, and his wife doesn't really know about cars. Only that he really likes the vehicle and brings it with them no matter what country they are in. -->
