- MY THROW IN... for Mustang day. Built this many years ago. PIX and thanks for looking
- Mustang Birthday today? I think there was a posting day scheduled......either way here's one of mine. *PIC*
- The new Mustang was introduced today in 1964. We pedaled our bikes down to see it. For the next few years it seemed like every driveway had a Mustang in it. *NM*
- I'm sorry I don't have pics. It was so unrgent to get them to market as soon as possible I didn't document the mods. For the stock height I just eyeballed it, and whatever was left made up the chopped body *NM*
- Thank you. Grab the saw and DO IT! *NM*
- Didn't realize you used the Altered States tops on both of those. I'm honored. I did offer up the masters to another caster a couple years ago but they passed. *NM*
- Calling it done..... '30 Model A Victoria Gasser. *PICS*
- Did anyone else get the text message saying TRJ #86 is on its way to subscribers and they're working on #87? *NM*
- DON'T WANT TO.... be a thunder sealer so is my own post. From one extreme to the other extreme. Same color but different extremes. PICS and thanks for looking
- Replicas and Miniatures
- Ranchero *PICS*
- That’s interesting as I’ve got mine. *NM*
- Couldn't resist posting this. Talk about yankee ingenuity, how 'bout this custom build?----------MILITARY CUSTOM
- Speaking of car shows (?). I'll be attending this one Thursday and Friday.------SAMPLES
- Ever hear of a resin company called Design Detail, out of Seattle? I acquired some of it product line last night at an IPMS club meeting.
- Totally O/T: If you got an email from my redchief66 account, delete it and dump your trash, I got hacked
- Anyone have the '73 Cougar yet? Was it in Black or (puhllleeze!) white styrene? Thanks! *NM*
- Frank, I'm with you on this, but to me each his own. I see rat rods as the progeny of past fads like over-customized cars of the early 60's, undriveable thingies like the bathtub car, and prostreet cars. Cars built to follow the laltest fad reach a point where theyh are no
- Off the bench......PICS......
- I have a couple of AMT '68 Mustang (built-ups), and a couple of "68 Shelbys. I ought to build one of the regular Mustangs. *NM*
- Mike Siegman *LINK*
- Aurora Undertaker...
- Has anyone offered to send parts yet? I have a bunch of extra grilles and headlights. *NM*
- Seeing the MPC 1973 Cougar reappearing at the top of the page makes me wonder if the roof could be combined with one of the great new Revell Mustangs to make a Mustang coupe. *PIC*
- Just one more project idea. Bloody Meri *PIC*
- I'm under the impression that Scale Auto puts out 2 contest magazine editions in a year. Is that true? *NM*
- Drag Race Memories, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada... *LINK*
- Dave, I emailed you a copy of the flyer. Sounds like it didn't make it ito your inbox. JIM. *NM*
- Who makes a nice set of 1960s big and little medium wall show car/show rod tires Thanks *NM*
- Thanks Marty...really liking the '57 F100....mainly 'cause I have one of my own. *NM*
- Straight Line Saturday....errr... Sunday......
- Here's a cool idea. Disregard that cartoon character on the trunk or hood. Check out the "bubble top" (Garrett's words) on this lowrider '64 Impala. No, not a 62 bubble top. Take a look at the roof. This would be cool to do on a model as well. *PIC*
- From the same artist at Artstation, Garrett G. This wouldn't be a bad project idea, IMO. *LINK* *PIC*
- A few more car show photos-------INSIDE
- Not for the faint of heart. Some times I like surfing through Art Station. Some people can really come up with cool "what if" concepts. I hope you're prepared for this.... *LINK* *PIC*
- Yes it was, Dave.
- It was great having the chance to talk!
- Why make something ugly when with the same effort you can make something look good. Not just the eye of the beholder either but built ugly on purpose. *NM*
- Continuing my controversial car show coverage. When was the last time you saw an unrestored,1 of 350, 440-6bbl 4-speed 1970 GTX?---------PICS
- The drasticplastic instruction sheet collection is a great place to research this stuff. AMT changed their Mustang chassis to full detail for 67/68 and the '68 Shelby is the successor of that foundation. *PIC*
- Apparently all these builders respect each other's work. This '47 was at the same show parked next to a Mercedes---------PIC
- They look great in "Top Banana Yellow" with the black graphics. *NM*
- I guess it's O.K. in Nevada. *NM*
- Am I correct in assuming there is no tool in existance, or sound enough to release a '71 or '72 Chevelle? I'd really like to have a '71. Thanks. *NM*
- 🤣🤣🤣 *NM*
- IMHO he should have looked after you… Regarding supply, it sounds like the timing around CNY had the biggest effect on the current supply situation, so hopefully it all will be resolved soon. The demand should equate to more of these great releases from R2, though. *NM*
- That IS amazing spur of the moment engineering. *NM*
