It would be very, very close.
Reminds me to dig mine out - I got this kit as a kid, tried to brush paint the body and it went badly.
Somehow, Dad and I managed to strip the finish, and two-toned it (I can still smell the AMT lacquer we used.) Masked off the black, shot the gold and finished it off, had a place of honor on my shelf for many years until I got into model airplanes and tossed most of my pre-'70- kits.
Very simplified kit, but a lot of fun to build for a young kid with wide eyes! FWIW, the body with the big wheel cuts is a nice hardbody slot choice, you can sit it right down on the chassis with no grinding for stock/vintage classes where that is verboten.
