- That looks perfect ! The finished product makes it look like it was easy. *NM*
- Dan,thats nice, especially like the engine bay,I just finished the same kit tho' hotrodded mine, used the 6carb 1/24th Little T SBC & some parts box 5spoke mags & tyres, went together o/k but final assembly was a PITA as not very big frame/bed/interior location points..lol *NM*
- Just realized that yours was the 2nd run with the correct horizontal lower side window opening...mine is the 1st run upward sloping lower window edge, started it 30yrs ago, painted then & left till I finished it 1 months ago...lol. *NM*
- Looks good to me. I built one when the kit first came out. I used a Dremel to open up the back of the grille so you could see through it. *NM*
- Great build!! *NM*
- Very nicely done, Dan. Crisp, clean build, sharp detailing... *NM*
- That '55 looks really sharp! *NM*
- You bet! I just got the block hugger headers last week and while they're beautiful, they stick out too far and don't tuck into the frame. They look great though and will be used on a different project.
- Thank you Matt & Dawn, my kits arrived today. *NM*
- Another one bits the dust. PICs I picked this up at our contest in March and I haven't built a Tamiya kit is awhile and it was very enjoyable.
- These are pretty cute. *PIC*
- What would be a unique color to paint the AMT '68 GTO? I'm looking for a color in a spray can. Any suggestions? *NM*
- OT: *VIDEO* How AMT Saved Star Trek (kinda) Galileo shuttlecraft *LINK*
- For Bob Kremer. *PICS*
- Very OT....I have a "Reed Prince" screw driver, but have never run into a Reed Prince screw that I know of. What's up with that? *NM*
- Got my MPC 71 Demons and 68 R/T convertible today!
- hemmings.com has a story on a 1965 Great Dale 'house car' on its website. *LINK* *PIC*
- Has anyone bought tires from Modelhaustires.com?
- Street Machine version, blue box art and the blower *NM*
- But that's a Super Stock car, and the kit was a Pro Stocker. The Ramchargers DID briefly run Pro Stock, but with a '70 Challenger *NM*
- Marty Neyrinck, I sent you an email. *NM*
- Probably unique at most shows, even the Mustang ones. Very nice survivor. *NM*
- Bob, Terry Jesse's article (can't remember if it was Scale Auto or Car Modeler) used actual colored ink to do the outlines, I'd check with him for details if you can't find the articles *NM*
- That's why I keep a tub of Super Clean nearby--it's like having a mulligan at the ready and takes the edge off the frustration *NM*
- I actually had some good luck placing painted bodies near a dehumidifier. Not sure it did wonders for the dehumidifier, but the paint cured pretty nicely *NM*
- The Sox & Martin livery is probably the best-known, sort of like Grumpy's Toy or Dick Landy. Even when the 'Cuda kit was released, I'm guessing any other version would have been more a sales stretch *NM*
- PIF #3: a set of American SATCO red line tires...*PIC*...

- 70 RAMCHARGER CUDA.... Mike L I built this back when kit first came out and forgive me but I think the decals came from Firebird Decals I'm pretty sure I'm working my memory. PIX and thanks for looking
- Okay, who's doing the 25th scale hydroplanes?? *PIC*
- I've created flexible hose by winding light wire around appropriate diameter tubing, wrapping with teflon tape, painting, remove tubing----PICS
- OFF THE BENCH... Tomorrow they will be off to Indiana to the house of Chuck Cochran. I really enjoy doing them. PIX and thanks for looking
- That’s why most of my recent stuff is in prep stage. Once the painting begins, that’s when I start sweating bullets. *NM*
- For some reason, I’ve always had the best results with brake fluid. Anything else just doesn’t remove as much of the paint. *NM*
- Do you really need a dehydrator for the paint to dry? Also, what’s making the plastic do that? Too much clear plastic added to the pellet mix during the plastic injection molding phase? *NM*
- Is the AMT '69 Firebird tooling/kit actually the MPC '69 Firebird? *NM*
- Weird and wonderful. *NM*
- Bummer! *NM*
- BACK AT YA BUDDY! THANKS FOR YOUR HELP! *NM*

- Revell is now a German company. They got rid of the NASCAR stuff, and some of the drag racing items, they are doing new kits of American cars but it seems they will concentrate on stock versions for the most part *NM*
- OK I just tried it. Took some time to get through the chrome but it also took the lacquer base off. I tried it on a piece from the new '68 Dodge Coronet kit. *NM*
