pep and as always light coats with careful inspection bstween coats, but you can't sand candy between coats, at least I find it's not effective.

Now I did only one 1:1 candy paint job on a 240Z in candy wineberry over a charcoal candy base. I learned the hard way you can't shoot candy on a 1:1 as you do with metallics. I was too accustomed to releasing the trigger and starting again at each panel, I got a few heavy spots at each start-stop point, now I did go a really good final color sanding and polishing to a mirror slick surface. My friend was very pleased with the car and within two months another motorist saw the car and stopped to talk to him, he was offered too much money for the "Z" to pass up and he accepted the offer and bought a chevy blazer.
