Yep. There are vestiges of the 1965 Promo/Craftsman Malibu SS 1/4 panel scripts on both the AWB and Modified cars *NM*

Yep. There are vestiges of the 1965 Promo/Craftsman Malibu SS 1/4 panel scripts on both the AWB and Modified cars *NM*
The AWB Nova and Chevelle chassis are very similar (so close that some parts interchange) but are not the same *NM*
Thanks Mark ! that interesting, so I'm wondering if the rest of that AWB tool still remains orphaned like the stock 64 Olds F85 parts were....
I've always thought the Chevelle chassis got reworked into the Boss Nova piece. All of those kits got altered/butchered around the same time, and if someone told me to design a chassis for the Boss Nova, the way it is isn't how I'd have done it *NM*
Its certainly possible they did that, but why not use the Chevelle engine and susp etc too ...
The Chevelle engine is still in the Chevelle. As for the Boss Nova, I always thought that was inspired by Cotten Owens' Dart wagon *NM*
After looking at some open kit photos I can confirm that the Chevelle Modified Chrome tree is in the exact same layout of the Time Machine Funny Car ....
Depends on what the end goal is...
My mistake. The Malibu SS scripts were still on the AWB car but the AWB lost the front fender engine badges from the body sides.
