- Let's play 53s. PICs I just realized that I don't have any completed pic of the Rocketeer with the decals on it. I guess I will be doing that this evening.
- Question: Thumbs up or thumbs down. PICs Thumbs up means I will assemble it as is. Nothing else done to it. Thumbs down means I will keep the engine, tires and wheels and probably the chassis for something down the road and the rest goes in the trash. 3 attmepts ....
- Re: Question: Thumbs up *NM*
- Thumbs up. *NM*
- Respectfully, Terry, trash it and move on. FWIW, I've finished stuff my gut said "no" to. When I look at--or think of-- it, I only get "P O-d" all over again. Got enough stuff to raise my blood pressure... *NM*
- Thumbs up but do what you want to do. *NM*
- Life is too short, got too much good stuff waiting for me in the stash. Trash it and move on! *NM*
- Perfect diorama or wrecking yard candidate, but as others have said.....your choice lol. *NM*
- Throw a scale tarp over most of it, move on.
- You might just give it a very light sanding to bring the peeling paint closer to scale or just give it a purple bath and set it aside in case you ever need something from it. You know if you toss any of it, in a month or two you will need some part you tossed. ;^) *NM*
- Take the body parts and interior, make it a diorama piece, and reuse the rest *NM*

- This is 1:1 information but interesting nonetheless... There's a new kind of chrome finish by a company called Designer Chrome, you paint it on by brush and then heat it up with what looked like a butane torch to a high chrome luster... *LINK*

- If I paint a red plastic body with red paint (and primer), do I stil have to worry about bleed thru? Thanks. *NM*
- Wayne, you're comparing a 9N/2N (gray) to an 8N (red/gray). That's not a fair comparison. Notice I did not state an 8N. Ferguson worked for a Ford distributorship in the UK. Ford licensed the 3-point to Ford, Ford licensed the tractor to him. *NM*
- That goes to show how screwed up Google is. Corona is probably 60 miles or so inland, and not between LA and SD. *NM*
- My granddaughter has and old tractor not a Ford but it's a tractor. I thought it was but what do I know. PIX
